Deshi Singh

Deshi Singh is the founder and CEO of Apricot, a platform revolutionizing the way we shop and earn. A seasoned entrepreneur and former Morgan Stanley investment banker, she launched Apricot in 2020 with the goal of disrupting the online customer acquisition model via technology that enables authentic referrals.  Prior to Apricot, Deshi spent nearly a decade in the Financial Services sector, starting in Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley and Investor Relations at hedge funds including Och Ziff and Hudson Bay Capital Management. She co-founded Gem X, a jewelry social club based in NYC born out of a desire to transform jewelry into a social experience for a new generation of enthusiasts. She also helped launch Indie Fresh, a healthy chef-prepared food company based in NYC. Through philanthropy and impact investing, she supports various initiatives in education, sustainability, and advocacy for women and children. She is currently the President of the Singh Foundation, an Advisor for the Asia Foundation’s Lotus Circle, and sits on the board of Chefs for Impact. Deshi holds a degree in Economics from Wellesley College.
