There are over 25 million Latinos in the US who do not speak English fluently, and therefore have poor experiences or do not attend movies at all in the united States. As a result, Theaters and studios in the US are missing out on the revenue from this population who are statistically 40% more likely to purchase a movie ticket than the general population. TheaterEars allows moviegoers to watch a movie in the theater in their language of choice, starting with Spanish. Users download a free app and download the movie audio track prior to reaching the theater. Once the movie begins, the audio track begins to play in perfect sync with the sound on the big screen.
