Hans Kullberg

Head of Product & Co-Founder of Pathfinder Health

Hans Kullberg is a serial entrepreneur with a focus on building value for customers using a data-driven approach.  His strength comes from leading new initiatives from the idea phase to Go-to-Market execution in the Finance, Education, Payments and Health Care industries.  Prior to joining Pathfinder Health, Hans led an innovation team at Visa, transforming mobile phones into Point-of-Sale devices through a cloud-based, software-first approach.

Hans founded two ML-based FinTech startups, EconoCast and Simplex, that have both been successfully acquired and exited to large financial institutions. Hans is the co-founder of Open Dreams, an education non-profit that has helped nearly 300 high-achieving, low-income scholars attain full scholarships to global universities over the past decade using a virtual and mentorship-based framework.  Hans is also a proud father of four and a best-selling children’s book author.

Hans was inspired to join Pathfinder Health’s mission to empower parents in understanding their child’s developmental health due to a personal tragedy.  His daughter, Aviva, lived without a known diagnosis for a bradycardic condition she lived with most of her life, developing normally as an infant.  Aviva died suddenly at 10 months of age after doctors found no underlying diagnosis.  Hans is impassioned to help parents become the best advocate for their children, knowing the role parents can play to provide doctors with crucial information, especially regarding their child’s development, which largely relies on observational data.
