Charles Bonello

Charles Bonello is the co-founder, CEO and very proud “First Dad” of Vivvi, which provides child care and early learning for today’s families. Vivvi partners with employers of all sizes to make exceptional child care more accessible and affordable—providing parents with peace of mind while allowing employers the most powerful tool for recruiting, retention and productivity. Previously, Charles co-founded Grand Central Tech and helped to nurture and grow it into New York’s largest, most selective and inclusive tech ecosystem, with over 100,000 square feet and 100 companies. Most recently, he was a venture partner at RTP Ventures, where he focused on investments in the financial technology, healthcare and industrial sectors. Charles began his career at Fred Alger Management and River Twice Capital as a buy-side research associate, where he covered the consumer sector. In addition, Charles has also contributed writing and research to numerous pieces featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times, as well as “Superfusion: How China and the US Became One Economy”, “Sustainable Excellence: The future of business in a fast changing world” and “The Leading Indicators: A short history of the numbers that rule our world.” Bonello is a graduate of Regis High School and Tufts University. He’s a lifelong New Yorker, where he currently lives with his wife, Kathleen, daughter, Grace and twins Charlie and Lizzie.
